This is the necessary first step in the one-to-two-year supervision process, an essential requirement for certification. The day will consist in an orientation to the purpose and content of the supervision process. Participants will complete the self-assessment upon which the entire supervision process is built.

Annually in the Spring
At this ceremony, certification will be awarded to those Directors and Coordinators of Religious Education who have fulfilled the requirements for certification. Sr. Joan Curtin, CND, as Director of the Archdiocesan Catechetical Office, will grant the certification in the presence of a Bishop representing Cardinal Dolan. A dinner will follow the ceremony.
