September 1, 2018, is the Annual World Day of prayer for the Care of Creation. Pope Francis invites us to "renew our personal participation in this vocation as custodians of creation, raising to God our thanks for the marvellous works that He has entrusted to our care, invoking his help for the protection of creation and his mercy for the sins committed against the world in which we live.”

Monday, September 24, 2018, is Family Day, celebrating the positive influence parents have as they connect with their children each day.

The Catechetical Office joins the Franciscan Sisters of Peace, as well as the family, colleagues and friends in mourning the passing of Sister Catherine Ryan who went to God on Thursday, August 16, 2018. May she rest in peace.
